The BC Club Challenge is a fun competition run by Mid-Devon Cycling Club as part of the Dartmoor Classic Sportive.
It is kindly supported by Bay Cycles and prizes donated by some of our Event Village Sponsors.
There is a Bay Cycles, Club Challenge Team trophy and prizes for the winning club presented on Sunday afternoon.

How it works
This years competition is simplified to keep it fun and easy over the weekend, with just a bit of club rivalry spicing it up.
Points will be accumulated during the weekend and are gained through the folloing ways:
Pre Event Team Size Points:
Calculated using the entry system showing all of your club members that signed up to ride the Dartmoor Classic choosing the British Cycling Club Challenge ticket option.
1 Participant: 5 points
2 to 6 Team Members: 10 points·
7 to 10 Team Members: 20 points
Over 11 Team Members: 30 points
Saturday / Event Village Points:
Points awarded for each member of your club team that goes to registration on the Saturday afternoon at the Event Village.
Saturday Afternoon Registration: 2 points per Team Member
WAHOO STATIC BIKE CHALLENGE:
Wahoo and Certini will have two top of the range KICKR Bike Pro at the Event Village. Any team members you have can have a go at putting down their best time on a short Zwift course using one of the KiCKR bikes. There are two bikes, so if you need a bit of motivation, push yourself against your team mates or rival club members.
o 1st Place = 100 points
o 2nd Place = 80 points
o 3rd Place = 60 points
o 4th Place = 50 points
o 5th Place = 45 points
o 6th Place = 40 points
o 7th Place = 35 points
o 8th Place = 30 points
o 9th Place = 25 points
o 10th Place = 20 points

Sunday Sportive Points:
Find the Dartmoor Classic Pixies: 10 points per correct pixie code
There are images of pixies strategically placed around all the routes. Each pixie is holding a code. Keep your eyes open for the pixies and note the code. Get a list of all the codes your team has collected to the KICKR stand by 15:00 on the Sunday.
Closed Road Hill Climb Challenge Times:
Your individual Team Members Closed Road Hill Climb times will be ranked against other Individual Team Members from all the Club Challenge participating teams only, using the age and gender categories.
What does this mean? ... If, for example your team had a rider who came 1st in their age and gender category when compared against the other club team riders your team gets 100 points.
The place results below are compared to other participating club team members only and are not compared to all the non participating rider times from the main Hill Climb competition.
(Your individual climb times will still be entered in to the main hill climb competition results to qualify for EKOI KOM/QOM prizes)
For each age a gender category the club points are as follows:
o 1st Place = 100 points
o 2nd Place = 80 points
o 3rd Place = 60 points
o 4th Place = 50 points
o 5th Place = 45 points
o 6th Place = 40 points
o 7th Place = 35 points
o 8th Place = 30 points
o 9th Place = 25 points
o 10th Place = 20 points
Competition points will be calculated on all standings at 15:00 hrs (to give us a chance to establish the competition winners). Make sure someone from your team gets the Pixie codes deivered to the KICKR tent BEFORE 15:00.
Any pixie codes, Hill climb times, KICKR times not completed before 3pm will NOT count.
