The British Cycling Inter-Club Challenge
Congratulations to Bath Cycling Club - this year's winners of the Dartmoor Classic's Inter-Club Challenge sponsored by Bay Cycles.
The battle for the prestigious 1st place Trophy was vigourously contested throughout the weekend by Okehampton Cycling Club who fielded some very strong riders. Between these two clubs, they clinched 9 out of the top 10 places for the Hill Climb Element and the top three places in the Static Bike Competition. However, it was the overall team's commitment and attention to the non-combative elements of the competition that finally clinched the win for Bath CC.
3rd place went to Tavistock Wheelers Cycling Club who faught valiently throughout.

The Dartmoor Classic is run by cyclists for cyclists. At it's heart, running the event in the background is Mid Devon Cycling Club. It is only due to the existence of cycling clubs that cycling events, races and time trails etc. take place.
NEW for 2025:
All clubs registered with British Cycling can get a discount code from the Dartmoor Classic, for their club members to receive £10 off each entry.
Not only that;
Club members will be able to compete against other clubs in cycle related inter-club competitions throughout the weekend and gain points for their club toward an overall total.
COMMIT - Stage 1
Register your British Cycling Club and Take Part in the British Cycling Inter-club challenge
10 Points - For registering your British Cycling Club team.
Every team participant can earn points toward the club total
1 Point - for each team participant signed up to ride
2 Points - for each team member that attends registration on Saturday
CLIMB - Stage 2

Short digital Time Trial with warm up and cool down.
1st Place = 100 points
2nd Place = 80 points
3rd Place = 60 points
4th Place = 50 points
5th Place = 45 points
6th Place = 40 points
7th Place = 35 points
8th Place = 30 points
9th Place = 25 points
10th Place = 20 points
Maximum of two competitors per team
(male and female categories – female category points only awarded to 10th place)

Find the Dartmoor Classic Pixies: 10 points per pixie
This is a team effort, so not all members need to visit all checkpoints.

Points are for finish positions against BC Inter-club Challenge riders ONLY.
Points will be awarded for each top 30 club rider place
1st Place = 100 points
2nd Place = 80 points
3rd Place = 60 points
4th Place = 50 points
5th Place = 45 points
6th Place = 40 points
7th Place = 35 points
8th Place = 30 points
9th Place = 25 points
10th Place = 20 points
Top 20 places (Between 20th & 11th Place) = 10 points
Top 50 places (Between 50th & 21st Place) = 5 points
Top 100 places (Between 100th and 51st Place) = 1 point [25 max]
CONQUER - Stage 5
4 Points - for each team participant that finishes thrie route (before 4pm cut-off)
All stage points will be added together and the top three teams will win a prize
plus there will be a Trophy kindly donated by Bay Cycles to celebrate and record the conquering club !
If you are a member of a cycle club that is registered with British Cycling and have not received a code, contact your club secretary.
They can email, enquiries@dartmoorclassic.co.uk to confirm your clubs code if they have not received any details from us.
