Ride together. Score points. Win as a club.
The Inter-Club Challenge is run by Mid-Devon Cycling Club as part of the Dartmoor Classic Sportive.
WHY GET INVOLVED
This is your club’s chance to turn the Dartmoor Classic weekend into a team victory. Every rider can contribute, from endurance heroes to social legends across on-road segments and off-bike fun. A live leaderboard will track club standings, with a trophy for the winners and medals/prizes for the top three clubs.
PLUS Cycle Club Challenge participants get £5 off their Dartmoor Classic entry fee.
WHO CAN ENTER THE CLUB COMPETITION
• Open to registered British Cycling Club members only.
CYCLE CLUBS MUST REGISTER FOR CLUB MEMBERS TO BE ABLE TO TAKE PART
How to Register a cycle club.
Contact your club secretary and ask them to contact Dartmoor Classic (via email - enquiries@dartmoorclassic.co.uk) requesting to register.
Once registered your club name will be in the Dartmoor Classic entry system.
HOW CLUB CYCLISTS ENTER (STEP-BY-STEP)

ROUTES (CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE)
• Granite & Ghosts – Grande – 107 miles
• Mist & Myths – Medio – 67 miles
• Pixies Revenge – Piccolo – 47 miles
Click ‘ENTER NOW’ (top of the DC website) to go to Online Registration.
• Entered before?
Use ‘sign in with your Dartmoor Classic Account’ (email + password).
• First time?
Complete the ‘Buyer Information’ section and click “Proceed” to create your account. You’ll then be able to view and manage your entry.
Once at the online registration ticket screen:
• Select your chosen route
• Select the “British Cycling Inter-Club Challenge” ticket option
• During your entry process make sure you select your Cycle Club - Click “Enter Now”

HOW YOUR CLUB EARNS POINTS
• Cyclists entering and completing their chosen route earns points.
• Strength & fitness elements include:
–A closed-road hill climb segment (featured on all routes)
– A static bike micro-route Zwift challenge
• Social/skills elements include observational and Dartmoor knowledge-based challenges.
• Not every rider needs to do every element so use team tactics to maximise club points!
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Saturday 20 June 2026 – Event Village (12:30–18:00)
• Collect your Ride Pack (Rider Numbers & Timing Chip)
• Pick up your complimentary Dartmoor Classic cycle jersey
• Enjoy the Event Village: trade stands, food vendors, licensed bar, entertainment & music
• Some Inter-Club Challenge activities (with point-scoring opportunities) will run on Saturday afternoon
Sunday 21 June 2026 – SPORTIVE DAY
• Racecourse car park & registration hall open from 06:00
• Start windows (waves of 100 riders every 6 minutes):
Granite & Ghosts – Grande: first riders from 06:40
Mist & Myths – Medio: from 07:36
Pixies Revenge – Piccolo: from 08:42
• All riders must start by 09:00 and finish by 17:00
CLOSED-ROAD HILL CLIMB
Included on all routes, with Inter-club challenge points and prizes up for grabs.
FINAL NOTE
The Dartmoor Classic is a sportive, not a race, but with the British Cycling Inter-Club Challenge, smart teamwork, steady pacing and a bit of friendly rivalry could see your club on top of the leaderboard.
