Proof of Identity will be checked at registration. For Insurance, Health & Safety reasons it is vital that we are aware of who is participating in this event. If you are unable to attend please make sure we are notified as soon as practicable.

Terms & Conditions of Entry:

Please note that under our Terms & Conditions of entry we have a strict refund policy. Please check your diary and make sure you are available to participate BEFORE booking.

FORCE MAJEURE: If the organisers are forced to cancel the planned event due to an extraordinary event beyond their control, such as war, strike, crime, riot, epidemic, pandemic, flooding, extreme weather, or any other event described by the legal term 'act of God', registered participants will be offered a place in the next edition of the event or reimbursed with that part of their entry fees which are recoverable or have not been irrevocably committed to staging the event.

The cancellation or alteration of routes does NOT costitute the cancellation of the event. The organisers reserve the right to alter or close specific routes on the grounds of safety. In such circumstances participants will not be eligible for any refunds.

Cold or wet weather conditions are unlikely to lead to the cancellation of the event. Participants must use their own experience and judgement regarding their ability, equipment and preparedness to cope with the weather conditions on the day.If a participant decides that it is not suitable for them to ride, they will not be entitled to claim a refund.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not enter the event.

Transfers / Substitutions:
  • Dartmoor Classic Entries are only valid for the original applicant. You MUST NOT allow another person to ride under your identity.
  • Entrants are NOT permitted to transfer their place to another person
  • Places can not be held over for another year.
  • The Dartmoor Classic operates a Reserve List. In the interest of fairness, if you are unable to participate, please let us know as soon as practicable and we will offer the place to the next person on the Reserve List.
  • The Entry List will be locked and finalised on 2nd June 2021. No changes are permitted after this date (Route switches can be requested on the day).
Cancellations & Refunds:

The Dartmoor Classic operates a Reserve List. If you are unable to participate, we would encourage you to let us know as soon as practicable. Where we are able to reallocate the place we will issue a refund (see table below). If the place cannot be reallocated, NO REFUND will be issued.

Refund Amount:
  • Cancellations within 7 days of online registration and before 1st July 2021 = Full Refund
  • Cancellations before 1st April 2021 = 50% + Priority Invite for 2021.
  • Cancellations from 1st April 2021 = Priority Invite for 2022 only.
  • Cancellations from 2nd June 2021 = Nothing (Lists are locked so we can't effect any changes)

If you wish to cancel please use your registration account or send us an email (posts to our social media sites or phone calls will not be accepted). 

Reserve List:

The Dartmoor Classic operates a 'Reserve List'. This activates once all places have been sold. It is FREE to add your name to the reserve list. As soon as a place becomes available it will be offered to the first person on the list. When you reach the top of the list you will receive an automated email inviting you to enter. You MUST respond to this email within 48 hours or the invite will expire and the place will be offered to the next person on the list. please make sure that you regularly check your email (including your spam / junk mail folder).
