The Teignbridge Titans Netball Club have provided volunteers for the Dartmoor Classic for several years now and are one of the many Community Interest Groups financially supported through this event.

Thanks to those who donated £1 or more at the point of sign up for the Dartmoor Classic, we have raised a fantastic £3,260 for the Trust. But there is still lots more we can do to help!

Hugh Malyon shares his story ... an inspiration to us all!

Hundreds of primary schoolchildren from across Devon descended on Dartmoor to discover the path to their future career at the inaugural Dartmoor Aspirations Day held in March.

Organised by Princetown Primary School, and sponsored by Dartmoor Classic, the event saw over 300 schoolchildren and teachers from seven primary schools* coming together to discover just what it takes to make it in their dream job.

Organisers, Mid Devon Cycling Club, have reported another rapid 'sell-out' for the 10th running of the popular Dartmoor Classic Sportive which takes place over the weekend of 25th and 26th June 2016.

"The website opened for the 2016 Classic at 08:00, offering 4,000 places across 3 rides, the Grande at 105 miles, the Medio as 65 and the Piccolo at 35. By midday, the Piccolo was sold out with the Medio and Grande reaching capacity within 48 hours." Guy Langworthy, event Chairman told us.

The Dartmoor Classic team are very proud to have contributed to the staggering £37 million which was raised yesterday the BBC Childeren In Need appeal.

On Sunday 8th November Team Rickshaw passed through Devon on this years challenge. Their route took them from Okehampton, over the edge of Dartmoor and on to finish at Taunton. The Dartmoor Classic charities officer, Sarah Lakey, and fellow Mid-Devon Cycling Club members, joined the inspiring team of youngsters to offer some support during their incredible ride in challenging conditions.
